Adopt A State

A State Coordinator will oversee the review and acceptance of County Coordinators for the project. Duties and responsibilities of the SC are as follows:

	Maintain a state page with links to every county within the state
	Review and approve requests for County Coordinator (CC) positions
	Periodically review CC pages for compliance with project specifications
	Promote the project
	Receive and review data from County Coordinators
	Submit data to the national database
	Subscribe to the SC Forum at http://geogen.org/ggforum

Before you volunteer, please review the FAQS page and the Guidelines page. I would expect every State Coordinator to host one county in their state as well. It's the only way to really understand how the project works and will develop.
