Welcome to The US GeoGen Project ™ Delaware State page. The US GeoGen Project ™ is a stand-alone project created by Bob Maley. The purpose of the project is to create a national database listing the location of all cemeteries with geographic coordinates so genealogy researchers can use the latest in GPS technology to locate even the most remote and obscure cemeteries. The national database will always be made freely available via the Internet to anyone who is researching his or her ancestry.

Go to the County Selection to find a county page in Delaware. If you are interested in adopting a county, please click on Adopt a County. If you are interested in volunteering to become a data collector, check the page for the county you are interested in.

You can use the form below to search for Delaware cemeteries. You must enter a County. There are currently 84 cemeteries in the system for Delaware.

A waypoint is simply the name of the place you are looking for. If you get no results using the waypoint field, try making the search term smaller, ie. Miller Family instead of Miller Family Cemetery.

bullet

Some states do not have data county coded yet. Try using a county of "Not Designated" to return the more data.

bullet

Latitude & Longitude are in the WGS-84 Datum, in DEG MM.MMM format. An example would be Latitude N40 18.726, Longitude W077 00.680.

bullet

You can enter a partial coordinate to find waypoints in a geographic area, ie. N40 and W077.
