When you first start hosting a county, the task of entering
all the waypoint data for all of the cemeteries can be a
daunting task. I found an easy way to build the database
quickly, then update the accuracy and exact waypoints as I make
my way around the county. There is a program called ExpertGPS
that will display topographic maps with many cemetery locations.
You use the program to create waypoints for all of the
cemeteries. You can export those waypoints to a .CSV file for
submission to the project. Make sure you only put 1 County in a
file as the state and county get added during the import to the
database.
