Ancestry is the best-selling consumer DNA kit in the world, and part of the world’s largest consumer DNA network. It can trace your roots back to over 1000 different global regions, discover migration paths and present the info with an interactive timeline, geographic details about your history and a pie chart fully detailing your ethnicity.
And all you need to give is a saliva sample. Send your spit kit back, and you’ll know more than you ever wanted to about your genealogy about 6-8 weeks later.
Once you’re an Ancestry member, you can also view photos and stories from your family’s past via the National Archives records.

AncestryDNA’s current sale runs through Mother’s Day (May 10th); the original DNK kit is $59 (down from $99) while AncestryHealth, which offers insights into your well-being and possible next steps you can discuss with a health care professional, is down to $99 (from $149).
