Jewish Historical Society of Central Jersey Plans Lecture on DNA Testing and Genealogy – Jewish Link of New Jersey

DNA

The American Jewish Experience Lecture Series, presented by the Jewish Historical Society of Central Jersey, welcomes community members to a presentation by Jack Feinstein entitled “After DNA testing I Was Contacted by Cousins with Unfamiliar Last Names. Now What?” The lecture will be held on Wednesday, August 21, at 10:30 a.m. at the Highland Park Conservative Temple.

More and more people are having their DNA tested to identify their genealogy heritage. The speaker will explain the problems of identifying family ties with your newly found Jewish relatives. A donation of $2 is requested at the door. For more information, contact the JHSCJ office at [email protected] or 732-249-4894.
